Nzeadibe is a Senior Lecturer, Department of Geography, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, visiting scholar, the Nordic Africa Institute, Uppsala, Sweden and Coordinator of Postgraduate Programmes, Department of Geography, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

He is a member of the following Professional Bodies:Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM), UK (2002-2013), Association of Nigerian Geographers (2007-present), Environment, Governance and Public Policy Research Group (EGPPRG), Population-Environment-Development Research Group (PEDRG), Sustainable Development Solutions Research Group (SDSRG), coordinator, Waste and Resource Management Research Group (WARMREG).

He holds a Ph.D, Environmental Management (Solid Waste Management & Recycling), an M.Sc., Environmental Management and B.Sc., Geography with a Second Class Upper Division all from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
